Working my way through X

I have decided to rebuild my X account from scratch. My old account was 17 years old and did not show any signs of growing.

The X algorithm simply didn't seem to show my posts. Though I don't know the exact reason, I suspect a couple of candidate items for possible dead growth.

1. Irregular Posting

I've never been regular with posting on X. This has been one of the biggest mistakes I did. Sometimes it was due to lack of motivation. Sometimes due to lack of thoughts. Sometimes I was busy in some project.

In short, I always considered about short-term gains instead of thinking long term.

But I was wrong all along!

I have now promised myself to post daily about the TailStatic so I at least have something to post everyday.

2. Not sticking to a niche

The new algorithm seems to be focusing on niches. That means if it finds that you are posting about diverse items, there is a high chance that your post will not be shown to many.

Earlier I was posting about my products and in the same rhythm, I would also post about a movie. Then some time I would paste a random motivational quote copied from some site.

This obviously confused the algo about my niche and it won't show the posts.

3. Too old account

Note sure about this, but a very old account that has been inconsistent throughout could have given bad signals to X algo and it might have punished me for that reason.

What's now

It's been 4 days and I've been posting daily since then. The follower count is increasing slowly; though I would not complain for this now. It's a new account and I don't expect nothing much to happen for next 4 weeks.

This is kind of an experiment where I am trying to identify the factors that X may be considering for growth.

The reason it is more important this time is because I have see new accounts growing to 500+ counts within few weeks.
